Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards with less than a value of ten are said to be worth face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they purely portray the two hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand will be the grand total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 has a total of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following codes:

- If the player or banker has a total of 8 or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Baccarat Tactics
