Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are worth face value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the initial digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as five will have a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).
A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the following regulations:
- If the bettor or banker has a tally of eight or 9, the two players stand.
- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the two scores wins. Successful bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie as a rule pays out at eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur less than one every ten hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are positively better – nine to one vs. 8 to 1)
When played properly, baccarat provides fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Strategy
As with every games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future events. Tracking of previous results on a chart is for sure a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most established and probably most successful tactic is the one-3-2-6 scheme. This process is employed to maximize earnings and minimizing risk.
start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.
If you don’t win on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
