Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards with less than a value of ten are give a value of their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they just appear as the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for each hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 as well as 5 has a score of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card may be played depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker has a score of eight or 9, each bettors stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure you have funds left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie usually pay 8 to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Definitely don’t try putting money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are emphatically better – 9 to 1 versus eight to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually a predictor of future actions. Tracking of past outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and probably most successful method is the one-three-2-six technique. This tactic is deployed to amplify earnings and controlling risk.

Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
