Punto Banco Regulations

Baccarat is played with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six = 11; dump the initial ‘one’).

A third card may be dealt depending on the rules below:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or nine, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has five or less, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the player takes a card, a guide is employed to see if the house holds or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (equal money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you depart the game so be sure to have funds left before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for a tie normally pays out at eight to one but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Played correctly baccarat banque offers pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games punto banco has quite a few common myths. One of which is similar to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly the most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This technique is employed to pump up profits and limit risk.

Start by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have six on the game table, take away 4 so you have two on the third wager. Should you come away with a win on the third round, put down two on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a take of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 wagers gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you can give up the second wager 5 instances for each successful streak of 4 bets and in the end, experience no loss.
