Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they purely represent the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven as well as 5 will have a score of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious bets on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have dollars left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie commonly pay out eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is not a good bet as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are decidedly better – 9 to one vs. eight to one)

When done effectively, baccarat offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Keeping track of prior results on a chart is for sure a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-three-2-six concept. This process is deployed to accentuate wins and lowering risk.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
