Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than ten are valued at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly depict the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For example, a hand of seven as well as 5 produces a total score of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given depending on the following guidelines:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Victorious bets on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have money remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie customarily pays 8 to one and sometimes nine to one. (This is not a good gamble as ties happen less than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from laying money on a tie. Even so odds are positively better – 9 to one versus 8 to one)

When done effectively, baccarat presents generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an indicator of future happenings. Keeping track of last results on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful strategy is the one-three-two-6 concept. This method is employed to accentuate earnings and controlling risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
