Baccarat Chemin de Fer Principles

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the cards, but the 1st number is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (five plus six equals eleven; ignore the first ‘1′).

A third card might be dealt depending on the rules below:

- If the player or banker achieves a value of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stands, the house hits on five or lower. If the player hits, a table is employed to see if the banker holds or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even payout minus a 5% commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to still have money remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie typically pay eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Gambled on correctly punto banco gives pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games Baccarat has some accepted myths. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events about to happen. Recording past outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and definitely the most acknowledged method is the 1-3-2-6 method. This tactic is employed to maximize earnings and minimizing losses.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the table, subtract 4 so you keep 2 on the third wager. If you win the third round, put down 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.

If you lose on the 1st round, you take a loss of one. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a take of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Succeeding at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you will be able to lose the second bet five instances for each favorable streak of four wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
