Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than 10 are of their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just act as the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a total of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card can be given depending on the following standards:

- If the player or banker has a tally of eight or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie generally pay eight to one and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a terrible wager as ties will happen less than 1 every ten hands. abstain from betting on a tie. Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes.
