Punto Banco Rules
Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the two cards, although the beginning digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals 11; dump the initial ‘1′).
A 3rd card will be given out based on the following rules:
- If the player or bank has a score of eight or 9, both players stand.
- If the player has 5 or lower, she hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a table is employed to determine if the bank stands or hits.
Punto Banco Odds
The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent rake. Commission are tracked and paid off when you leave the table so make sure you have funds left just before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie normally pays eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)
Bet on properly baccarat banque gives fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games punto banco has a few familiar myths. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future actions. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.
The most common and possibly the most acknowledged method is the one, three, two, six method. This method is deployed to pump up earnings and limit losses.
Start by betting 1 unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, pull off four so you keep two on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.
If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first round followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four rounds gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you are able to give up the second wager 5 instances for each successful run of four wagers and in the end, are even.
