Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued less than 10 are worth face value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they strictly appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven … five produces a total of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be played depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Victorious bets on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are considerably better – 9 to 1 versus eight to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually a predictor of future happenings. Keeping track of old results on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and almost certainly most successful technique is the one-three-two-6 concept. This scheme is employed to boost successes and lowering risk.

start by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
