Baccarat Banque Rules
Baccarat banque is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the beginning number is ignored. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; dump the initial ‘one’).
A third card may be given using the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker achieves a value of eight or nine, both players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players holds otherwise.
- If the gambler stands, the bank takes a card on a value lower than five. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to determine if the bank holds or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The bigger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19:20 (even payout minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you leave the table so ensure you have funds left before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Bet on correctly baccarat gives pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Strategy
As with all games baccarat banque has a few established myths. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Keeping score of past results on a chart is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most established and probably the most successful method is the one-three-two-six plan. This method is used to maximize earnings and limit losses.
Start by betting 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the 3rd wager. If you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit 2 on the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.
Should you lose on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you are able to lose the second wager 5 instances for each successful run of four bets and still are even.
