Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are of face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they strictly represent the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as five will have a value of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie by and large pay eight to one and occasionally 9 to 1. (This is not a good bet as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try betting on a tie. Even so odds are positively better – 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

When done effectively, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Keeping track of old results on a chart is definitely a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and almost certainly most successful method is the 1-3-two-six method. This scheme is deployed to maximize successes and reducing risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
