Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued less than 10 are valued at their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they merely symbolize the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the initial digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven as well as 5 gives a value of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be played depending on the following codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or nine, both gamblers stand.

Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pay 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a crazy wager as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try betting on a tie. Regardless odds are remarkably better – 9 to one vs. eight to 1)

When done correctly, baccarat presents pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an actual indicator of future actions.
