Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued less than ten are valued at their printed value meanwhile 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they simply depict the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for each hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as 5 has a tally of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card can be given out depending on the foll. codes:

- If the player or banker has a total score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart might be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays eight to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is an awful bet as ties will occur lower than one every 10 hands. Definitely don’t try wagering on a tie. Regardless odds are thoroughly better – nine to one versus eight to 1)

When played accurately, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an indicator of future actions. Tracking of last outcomes on a chart is a total waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful strategy is the one-three-two-six scheme. This scheme is employed to amplify profits and controlling risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
