Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the beginning number is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).

A third card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or bank has a score of eight or nine, both players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank takes a card on a total less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the bank holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you quit the table so ensure you still have funds left before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for a tie typically pays 8:1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)

Gambled on properly punto banco provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has some familiar misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future events. Recording previous results on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most familiar and almost certainly the most accomplished plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This method is deployed to build up earnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering 1 dollar. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with 2 on the third bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, add 2 on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the initial wager followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd wager five instances for every favorable run of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
