Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued less than 10 are worth their printed value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they only portray the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for each hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 as well as five has a value of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the player or banker has a total score of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay nineteen to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have money left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie by and large pay out eight to one but on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties occur less than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from putting money on a tie. However odds are somewhat better – nine to one vs. eight to 1)

Played accurately, baccarat offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of prior outcomes on a chart is for sure a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and probably most successful strategy is the 1-3-two-6 technique. This schema is used to accentuate profits and lowering risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
